This technology is compatible with PWM power supplies such as flyback and forward methods, and it uses a control method based on continuous oscillation, allowing the control frequency to be set for optimal conversion efficiency during standby (light load) and rated (full load) conditions. By aligning the frequency switch with the standby power point, further efficiency improvements during standby can be achieved.
